Operation Kosciusko
Dateline : 15 June to 20 June 1968

Duration :  6 days

Outcome :  4 RAR/NZ (ANZAC) troops - 1 wounded
                     Enemy                                   - 2 killed, 1 wounded
This was the battalions final acclimatization operation, preparing it to participate in Task Force operations.

The area between the Nui Dinhs and Nui Thai Vais was known by allied intelligence as a staging and re-training area for the Viet Cong.
A reconnaissance in force, destroying all enemy and their assets, was the task of the battalion.

The battalion completed this mission on 20 June 1968 and was extracted from the area of operation, being considered to be ready for Task Force operations.
