Problems with the prostate gland can usually be identified when urinating.
However prostate cancer can be present WITHOUT ANY of the following symptoms !

The following are typical symptoms.
1. Do you often need to urinate after retiring for the night ?
2. Do you have difficulty starting to urinate ?
3. Do you experience a weak flow ?
4. Do you experience interrupted flow ?
5. Do you feel afterwards that your bladder is not empty ?
6. Do you experience a burning sensation whilst urinating ?
7. Have you had a PSA blood test in the last 6 months ?
8. Has your physician checked your prostate in the last 6 months ?

If you answered YES to ANY questions 1 to 6, inclusive, you should visit your physician, explain your symptoms and obtain his/her advice, even if you answered YES to questions 7 and/or 8.
If you answered NO to ALL questions 1 to 6, inclusive, BUT NO to questions 7 and/or 8, it would be advisable for you to make an appointment to visit your physician and request a PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood test.
If you have not had a PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) blood test for 6 months, you should visit your physician and have this test as prostate cancer can be present WITHOUT ANY of these symptoms !
